I just finished my addition to this piece.
Jenny's "spine" effect gave this piece good negative space and broke the hard axis it had originally, giving it a more organic flow.

I thought this piece ought to be suspended....but then I added my element and started playing with the orientation, and realized the potential for a dynamic freestanding piece. With the extra weight of my elements it can hold itself up, I don't think it could before.
